OUR TEACHERS
We teach for ourselves but we're better together. Together for Community.

TAMARA DUNAHOE
Tamara’s passion for health stems from years of competitive dancing and volleyball before physical discomfort and overwhelming grief led her to Yoga in 2017 (at the Yoga Haven in Galveston!). Tamara brings a warm and supportive vibration to her instruction and invites self-exploration on and off the mat. Tamara has over 1000 hours teaching in-person yoga and over 550 hours of education. Teaching and practicing Ashtanga yoga is what fills her cup when she's not boogie boarding or finding shark teeth on the beach! Tamara is also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified BodyAwake Yoga instructor.

STACY SMITH
Stacy’s yoga introduction started in her early years practicing with her mother and grandparents at their health food store. She worked along side her mother at her health and wellness center and eventually started competing for the NPC (National Fitness Competition). In 2018 Stacy suffered a fractured neck, changing her life and brought her back to where she started; on her mat. Stacy found her home in the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. She holds a 200 hour yoga alliance certification and is trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Rocket Yoga, Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, and Kriya Yoga.

ERIKA BREAUX
"As a yoga teacher it is my calling to cultivate healing for people from all walks of life. This includes finding balance from within through the power of the interrelationship between one’s physical health and the state of one’s mind or spirit. I cannot wait to share the benefits of this practice with you as it has brought me into a life full of more humility, joy, inspiration and healthy habits. Let’s work together to strengthen our mind-body connection and mindful awareness!”
